Handmade Britain & Country Living Fair Edit

Christmas is one of the best times of year to hunt out artisans, designer-makers and independent traders. It is the chance to buy something exclusive while supporting small and local businesses. In the run up to Christmas a number of fairs bring together some of the best crafts-people and traders from around the country.

These are our picks from the Country Living Christmas Fair and Handmade Britain showcase.

The Country Living Fair brings together a range of businesses offering home-wares, jewellery, candles, floral decorations, textiles, food and drink. It is a mix of artists, designers and independent traders. The hall buzzed with shoppers, some of whom had brought shopping trolleys ready to be packed with goodies. The chocolate give away at the Green and Blacks stand was a big hit!

Handmade Britain is now in its ninth year and proved to be as popular as ever. In addition to home-wares, there were textile designers, jewelers, artists and bag designers. It was an exceptional showcase of talented and skilled artisans.
